# API reference

> Endpoint reference for the Asteroid API, with authentication and the OpenAPI schemas.

This section documents every endpoint. To write an integration, start with [Call a workflow from your code](/integrate/call-a-workflow) — it has the whole flow with working code.

## Authentication

Send your API key in the `X-Api-Key` header.

```bash theme={null}
curl -H "X-Api-Key: $ASTEROID_API_KEY" \
  "https://odyssey.asteroid.ai/agents/v2/workflows"
```

Create a key in the platform. Click your profile picture at the bottom left, then **API Keys**.

## Base URL

```
```

## Schemas

* Core API: `https://odyssey.asteroid.ai/agents/v2/openapi.yaml`
* Webhooks: `https://odyssey.asteroid.ai/webhooks/openapi.json`
